Message from Professor Nisisako

Welcome to our website!

Welcome to our laboratory, established in 2016, dedicated to exploring diverse research opportunities leveraging the unique behaviors exhibited by fluids and their interfaces, particularly in microscopic realms such as nanometers and micrometers.

One prominent initiative currently underway focuses on the industrial applications of Droplet Microfluidics. While bio-applications like next-generation DNA analysis devices and cell analysis devices have already found practical utility, there is a growing interest in harnessing Droplet Microfluidics as a production technology. In response to this evolving landscape, our goal is to pioneer game-changing technological innovations in this field.

Our laboratory boasts a diverse team comprising both Japanese and international members. While many members have a background in mechanical engineering, our research activities liberate them to explore various peripheral fields without constraints. We encourage a dynamic approach to research that transcends conventional boundaries, and we enthusiastically welcome colleagues who share our passion for pushing the limits of interdisciplinary exploration.
