Lab Overview
Message from Professor Nisisako
Welcome to our website!
As of January 1, 2026, I joined the Institute of Science Tokyo as a Professor at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering. I also hold a joint appointment with the Institute of Integrated Research.
Our laboratory focuses on micro- and nanoscale fluid phenomena and the development of novel devices and manufacturing technologies based on these principles. Building on this foundation, we are expanding our research into biomedical and life science applications through close collaboration with medical researchers and clinicians.
With microfluidic droplet and particle processing as our core technologies, we welcome students and researchers who are eager to explore new ideas beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries. If you are interested in interdisciplinary research at the interface of engineering, biology, and medicine, please feel free to contact us or visit our laboratory.
